Member schools share resources for purchasing, hosting, maintaining, and supporting an integrated student information system (SIS) and other technologies. Seven full-time staff maintain systems and staff a help desk to support the institution's use of these systems.

System maintenance is performed weekly, updates are scheduled regularly, nightly backups are performed, and data replication to an enterprise cloud DR site takes place every two hours.

The founders realized that they could not justify full-time specialists, such as a SQL dba, but could hire specialists if multiple schools were to share a resource.
